Helen is a wonderful, very caring childminder. She helped me out last-minute with looking after my 5-year-old daughter Emily during the Christmas holidays and we were so grateful, and she very quickly made her feel totally at home and at ease. Helen is a very conscientious person and was very keen to ensure that both Emily and I felt comfortable with her being in her care, which we did instantly. Helen's home is lovely, and her whole family was very welcoming (including her very gentle and cute dog Flash!). Emily had a fantastic time with them, going out on nice walks, doing arts and crafts activities and playing games. Helen also sent me various photos and updates during the day to reassure me that Emily was doing well. Emily is very keen to go to Helen's house again in another holiday, which is obviously a very good sign! I would 100% recommend Helen for anyone looking for some great childcare.

Helen is amazing. From the first day we met she intuitively interacted with our then 11 month old and I knew right then she was for us. Helen not only provides an incredibly warm and nurturing environment for the children in her care she is also incredibly diligent and organised. I always knew our son would be exceptionally well cared for when with her, allowing us as parents to go to work without worry. Helen provides a very stimulating setting for the children with activities set up daily to aid their development and trips out to interesting places. Our son would often say 'go Helen's house' when at home which says it all. We will always be grateful for her care and time looking after our son. Thank you Helen!

Our daughter has been with Helen for just over a year now and we couldn't be happier with Helen. Everyday they go out for an activity and the variety of places she takes the children just amazes me. She also does a mix of creative play as well, which I believe has helped so much with my daughter's development. Helen sends daily updates of what my daughter is getting up to, as well as weekly tracking of her development to the EYFS curriculum. I really feel that she does go above and beyond with what she does for the children and honestly we couldn't ask for more. Would highly recommend her.

My daughter has been with Helen since she was 11 months old. She settled in incredibly well and loves spending time with the other children in Helen’s care as well as with her two boys. She has only been with them a short time but has already learnt to hug other kids which is gorgeous to see. She adores all the activities that Helen provides - both at her home and out and about.
Helen provides an incredibly calm, loving and stimulating environment for Virginia. She is able to take part in developmental activities that I would struggle to expose her to now I am back at work. Plus lots that I have not done with her as well! She adored the Magic Garden at Hampton Court as she loves sand and water. She enjoys Rhyme Time and trips to all our lovely local parks.
She has settled into a very content and happy routine with Helen and naps better with her than she does at home! She increasingly looks forward to her days with Helen and the children which is wonderful to see. I look forward to watching her develop further under Helen’s care.

Helen is absolutely brilliant. My daughter has been with Helen now for a year and without Helen I don’t know how I would’ve been able to work and get by as a single mother. My daughter absolutely loves Helen and the other children she looks after and my daughter actually calls Helens children her brothers and sisters! Helen is extremely professional and has helped me in everything she does. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since being in Helens care and every time I pick her up she amazes me with what she’s been taught. In the year my daughter has been with Helen she has become such a loving and conscious child and I believe that is down to the way Helen looks after her. I would highly recommend Helen to anybody.

We needed full-time care since our daughter was 11 months old. She enjoyed being with Helen over the past two years and we feel that Helen’s setting was the best for our daughter during this time. We wanted her to be safe, stimulated and happy… we got a lot more! She loved spending time with Helen’s family and often refer to them as friends when she spoke about them at home.
We have been impressed by the great quality and variety of educational toys and books that Helen has available. We have seen really great progress in our daughter in terms of social interaction, speech, language, sharing with others, table manners, patience, communication, awareness of the world around her, recognising colours and shapes etc. As we are raising our daughter to be bilingual, Helen has been integral in laying a strong foundation in English for her.
While our daughter was pleased to see us at the end of the day she has never been desperate to go home and always arrives at Helen’s with a smile.
Helen has a really lovely manner with all the children in her care. She is always kind, calm and patient with them. Helen is very good with teaching manners to all in her care and has been supportive of anything we felt needed addressing in our daughter's behaviour as she grew. It was great that Helen plans several activities on a weekly basis to expose the children to groups, activities and fun places like Hampton Court, various parks and playdates with friends made at groups. Helen attends the best groups in the area and manages the time around the sleep time and lunchtime very well.
Helen’s setting is clean and all activities are well organised. We received a daily diary entry about food, naps, nappies and highlights of the day. Helen also kept us updates daily via Whatsapp and weekly reports via Tapestry. This was very helpful and made us feel part of our daughter's daily activities and progress. Helen is very good at communicating with us and anything we needed to check or need assurance for have always been addressing in a professional and timely manner. It is very helpful that Helen accepts childcare vouchers from both our employers. Helen’s policies are always up to date and very clearly written.
We would recommend Helen to anyone who is concidering choosing a childminder as option, to care for their children. She is a wonderful and highly professional childcare provider in the area!

Helen has been looking after my daughter for the last 6 months; the safety and wellbeing of the children in Helen’s care is her top priority and I leave my daughter at her’s with peace of mind each day.
What I quickly realised (and appreciate) after starting with Helen is that she considers and then caters for the needs of each child (including her own) in her care, both at home with the activities they do and the set-up of the areas in her home that is used, as well as with the groups she decides to take them to or outings on which they go. This means all of the children are content and stimulated appropriately.
Kids are the biggest tell tales; my child, who has bouts of anxiety, very quickly settled in at Helen’s at 12months old when she started and is very happy and eager to be dropped off, which is a testament of Helen’s nurturing approach with the children as if all of them were her own.

Helen looked after my daughter from the age of 11 months on a full time basis. It was difficult for me to leave her but Helen has such a kind, calm and nurturing manner that my daughter responded really well to being there and I always felt totally reassured that she was happy and well looked after while in Helen's care. I saw a huge increase in her confidence and self assurance in different environments during her time with Helen too.
Helen has a safe and secure setting which my daughter, in her just walking stage, was able to move freely in. Her garden also adds another safe environment for the children to explore. Helen, being aware of my daughter’s enjoyment of music and singing, always attended at least one singing/'rhyme time' group each week. She adapted her daytime routine in accordance with the children's nap time so she was able to get home in the afternoon for my daughter to have a sleep in a cot after a homemade lunch as my daughter did not sleep well out and about.
I really feel Helen encourages and stimulates the development of the children in her care, setting up sensory games and various exploration for them.
Everyday Helen completes a communication diary that came home for us to see. She also sent pictures and little updates to me throughout the day as well as updating 'tapestry' the online observation tool so I got those updates. The pictures and notes for these updates are put along side the early learning goals so I could see how she was getting on in terms of her development.
My daughter loved her time with Helen and it was only another baby coming along that made me take her out of Helen’s setting. I would highly recommend Helen to any parents looking for an amazing childminder.

Helen provided short-term childcare for me and my daughter of 14 months, Olivia. Olivia felt comfortable with Helen from the start which left me feeling very comfortable. Olivia came home each night happy and bubbly, worn out from the day activities planned by Helen.
Helen was professional, patient and caring towards Olivia and I. I must admit she held my hand through those the first few drop offs, re-assuring me with a smiley picture of my daughter having fun.
I would recommend Helen and would happily use her services again.

Helen childminded for me from September 2011 to February 2012 whilst I was working and I could not have been happier. My little boy loved going to Helen's house and I felt very happy leaving him there whilst I went to work. I knew that he was well cared for in a lovely setting and had a fantastic time with lots of toys to play with and lots of activities to do to keep him busy. From day one I found Helen to be extremely approachable, genuine, caring and professional and quite clearly enjoyed working with children.
Although I no longer work, Helen still babysits my little boy from time to time at weekends and I would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone and I know my little boy would too!
