Ad-hoc childcare

Rachel and Ian were able to help me with 3 days of childcare for my 3 month old daughter. They were very reassuring as this was the first time Id left my daughter, accommodating all requests for her care. They have created a relaxed, fun and friendly atmosphere in their home and I would recommend their services.

The best childminders

If you're looking for a childminder then Rachel and Ian are the best you could wish for.

My daughter started with them when she was only 6 months old and what I appreciated most was the love, fun and learning that both of them provided. It's like an extended family and my daughter felt very much at home. She is now 7 and still chats about her time with them.

Working full time and bringing up children is always a juggling act, but with Mind that Child it was made easier by their flexibility and knowing that your child was in very safe hands.

I would highly recommend them to any parent wanting a childminder.

Highly Recommended

Our son has been at Mind That Child for just over 6 months. During this time he has learnt to interact with other children and has developed into a happy and confident toddler. We love the fact that Mind That Child is a husband and wife team as they both enhance the child minding experience for all the children and work so well together to create a fun, exciting and diverse environment. The settling in period was completely centred around what was best for our son and when it came to the first full day without me, I was kept updated and advised that I could call whenever I wanted for peace of mind. This was not necessary as by this point we completely trusted Rachel and Ian and knew that our son would be having a great time and being well cared for in a family environment. Rachel and Ian keep us regularly updated on key milestones, up and coming activities and day to day events. We have all been welcomed into the Mind That Child family and would highly recommend Rachel and Ian to provide the best possible care for children and babies. Kay words to sum up Mind That Child...Trustworthy, Security, Confidence, Experienced, Fun, Happy...the list goes on. The best choice you could make for your local childminder!!!

Positive Role Models

I have been using Mind That Child for over 5 years, since my daughter started school. As a single parent, it has been wonderful to use a husband and wife team, so my daughter has a positive male role model in her life. During the time that she has been with Mind That Child, my daughter has made some good friends, and been happy and contented. I feel the fact that there are lots of children of differing ages at Mind That Child has benefitted her, as at home there is just her and I, so she learns to share and take turns. Any personal issues that she has had during her time with Rachel and Ian have been dealt with sensitively, and she is confident in confiding in Rachel particularly. I would recommend Mind That Child to parents.
