Excellent Childminders

My son was going to nursery for 6 months and it was a struggle. It was just too noisy and busy for him and I was never relaxed when I left because he always had a sad and tearful face. The reason we left nursery was that I accepted a job offer with early starts and shifts and the nursery doesn't open early enough.

It was the best decision ever! Having taken him to Kerry and Peter only a few times, he's changed completely. He just wants to go, doesn't need any reassurance whatsoever and I am completely relaxed knowing he's fully happy and having fun!
He loves walking and it's an absolute bonus that that take the children out to parks and different playgrounds.

The fact that they are working together makes it extra special, their roles are very clear with Kerry doing cooking, baking, arts and crafts and Peter doing more of the outside activities. They are great teachers, always explaining things and helping the children to grow.

I can recommend their services to anyone who wants quality care for their children in a friendly environment where they can have more attention and are benefitting from one to one care they offer.

Fantastic Childcare

Kerry and Peter have cared for both of our boys (aged 4 and 2 years) since they where 9 months old.

They both put you and your child at ease in their family orientated, caring setting from day one.
Encouraging learning through play both inside the home and on many day trips out to farms, play centres, wildlife trips and much more.

My eldest has started school this year and is excelling in his reading, Phonics and literature, Thanks to the teaching techniques the setting promotes.

5 stars and highly recommended!!

Above & Beyond!!

Kerry cares for my three children aged 3, 5 and 7.

I say above and beyond because that's how Kerry works... I don't think i would ever find another Childminder that is so caring and does so much for my children.

Before and after school or nursery she provides breakfast and dinners - and i'm not kidding these are some of the most delicious dinners you've ever seen. I am really pleased that my children get to sit around a table for their meals enjoying home cooked healthy food and talking about their day. This is something which i feel is very important.

My children absolutely love going to Kerry's, she has so many fantastic toys and reguarly takes them out to places like Paul's Pirates, Wicksteed Park, Irchester Country Park and Rookery Farm. Wherever they go they come back full of smiles and have always learnt something new.

Kerry will always make an extra effort for things like Christmas/Halloween/Birthdays usually including a party and lots of cake!!

The children become really close to their friends at Kerry's house and my children have made some lovely friendships which continue even when children move on and have gone to different schools etc. I have made some great friends too with the other parents! BONUS!

Kerry has been childminding now for over 25 years and still loves it! That's got to say something!

Kerry's a god-send!

My husband and I started using Kerry's childminding services in March 2007, when I returned to work when my eldest daughter was just 12 weeks old. She has since looked after both Emily, and her younger sister, Olivia (again since 12 weeks) until they both started school. Both the girls are now at school, but we shall continue to use Kerry's services during holidays.

Kerry, and her family, have offered a caring, fun and stimulating environment to my children at all stages of their development.

To me, as someone working full-time and running my own business, of as much importance as the quality of care Kerry provides to my children, is her reliability. Kerry has not had any time off sick during the time we have used her (five and a half years), and always gives us plenty of notice of holidays.

I would have no hesitation in recommeding Kerry to any parent considering a childminder. She really has been a god-send to us over the past few years!

I'd urge you to contact her to discuss your requirements, and of course I'd be more than happy to provide a verbal reference, if required.
