Woodnewton- A Learning Community is an academy converter school in Corby. According to the latest government data, it has approximately 882 pupils and allows entry for children aged 3-11.

About Us

Woodnewton a learning community is part of the Woodnewton Academy Trust in Corby Northamptonshire. Academies in our Trust include: Exeter a learning community, Brayford Avenue, Corby 01536 204765; Prior's Hall (opening September 2016).
Our primary schools take children from the age of two years to eleven years. We also have a Children's Centre on the Woodnewton and Exeter sites.
We are open 8.00am to 6.00pm, 48 weeks of the year. We have a 2 week shut down in August and we close between Christmas and New Year.

Our Childcare Provision

Our early years provision caters for children aged two to the end of reception (first year of school). Wrap around provision is available from 8.00 - 8.45 am and 3.30-6.00pm. Children who attend our nursery and reception are also able to book at place during the school holidays.
We also offer a breakfast and tea-time club (term time only) for children on our school roll, between the ages of 5 and 11 years. Times are 8.00 - 8.45am and 3.15 to 6.00pm. We are able to help parents find care during the school holiday.
