About Me
My names Hannah I'm 33 and have two boys a 11 and 6 year old and a step daughter who is 7. I have always wanted to work with children so I went on to develop this by joining hope Liverpool university where I studied Early childhood studies and Disability. I choose to do this as my passion is children and I also have a disabled brother who is late 20’s which had made me want to help those who may also have a disability. I feel pregnant in my second year which made me even more determined to carry on. I graduated in 2011.
I have seen then been working in a school for the last 12 years as a TA but have since decided to leave so that I could be around for my own children a little more and be able to collect from school. I did not work Mondays in school and have been looking after a boy who is 17 months for the last few months. I will be continuing to do this, and can be free to offer childcare out in my home (L19).
I'm a reliable, out going person who likes to make the most out of life. I strongly agree that children need to have fun at a young age Aswell as learning, developing social skills, and developing ways to express themselves. I did my best to do this with my own children and would do the same with your child, as I am fully aware how important and valuable these early years can be. I would be making sure your child attends baby classes and would be happy to attend anything that you feel you would be beneficial.
An employer would find me reliable and responsible, as well as being extremely flexible and co-operative. I am eager and willing to further develop my skills and look forward to any new challenges that may come my way. I hold a current Enhanced CRB, first aid training and a driving license.

I have extensive experience of working closely with children, offering learning support and care within a school environment. I have worked for many years at Belvedere Preparatory School supporting teachers, pupils and parents through my many different roles; building up successful professional relationships with all those I have come into contact with.
After School Club/ Holiday Club
Children are given a structured routine within the day from snack time, outdoor activities, lunch time and through creative play. Being a part of this team has allowed me to gain experience in engaging with children within an educational setting through play activities, but still proving an educational base to learn.
During my time there i have gain some vauable experince working along side the children aswell as the teachers. Within the School my roles have been to complete any paperwork, plan lesson activites, play group duties, assist the teacher to support pupils to enable work challenges for the most able and support for the less able. Another part of my role is to provide a more one to one support care for a child. During the day it is my responsibility to check that the child is doing ok. I feel it is important to developed a close bond with the child and their parents paying special attention not only to their day in school but to what they do outside school. This ensure's that the parents feel at ease with me and also in knowing how their child has been doing the school day, as i am fully aware that it can be a worry for those parents who have a child with additional needs

Days, will also welcome babysitting if parents need a well earned break.
However if you the parent does not mind me caring for your child Aswell as having my own, who are very friendly and easy going then I am totally happy with that so would be available more often.
Currently looking at having a change in regards to work and would like to go back into childcare on a more full time basic.
I am more than happy to have children in my home if that suited other parents, I pride myself on my house being a fun welcoming environment where the children can all play together. If this was to suit anyone then am sure we could come to an arrangement.
