About Me
Hello i'm Jess and i'm 29 years old and i have recently moved to Edinburgh.
I hold a level 3 qualification in childcare and am currently completing a part time degree in primary education.
I'm a confident and very friendly and sociable person, i am a very reliable person and i am active and know this is best when working with children of all ages. I love to be outdoors and love going for walks especially with my husky!
I have always loved working with children and love being able to see children developing and being able to try out new experiences and activities as they grow up.
I have worked in nursery settings for 9 years and have experience with children aged between 3 months and 8 years.
I have got a clean DBS which can be shown on request and references if needed.
I have a clean driving license and have been driving for 7 years.
I have recently had a baby girl who is 6 weeks old. My partner is in the army and is away a lot so with this on occasion I may need to bring my daughter with me on jobs. I will always ensure that your child's needs are met fully and are having fun whilst in my care.

My Experience
During my time at college I was able to work in four placements with ranging ages of between 8 weeks and 5 years.
I have also done a lot of babysitting with children ages ranging from 3 months old - 10 years old.
I have worked in nurseries for 8 years giving me experience across age ranges 3 months - 7 years. With this i have gained knowledge in hygiene, healthy living, potty training, children's abilities and interests etc and have also worked with children with special needs.
My Qualifications
I have a BTEC level 3 national diploma in Childcare which included

I have a grade C in English and Maths GCSE
I have previously had a paediatric first aid certificate and have completed various training courses whilst working in a nursery setting. I am looking into renewing my first aid certificate
I am currently working towards my degree in primary education part time.
My Availability
I work half days which depend on when my job requires help between AM and PM shifts. But am mostly available afternoons/ evenings and weekends! Currently on maternity leave so availability is more flexible.
