My Experience

I have had experience working within nursery settings as-well as nannying. I have extensive experience with newborn babies, twins and multiple children of the same age up to the age is 12. I also have experience with special needs. I have worked for many families which included high profile families.


Temp jobs

I was nannying for a family with a 3 week old baby and a 2 and half year old as well as night nannying for the baby on an adhoc basis. Duties have been to feed, change, arrange age appropriate activities, go on walks, ensure their safely at all times.

I have been helping a family out with there 8 month old twins, have been with them since September.

I have been helping a family with there 6 week old twins as a night nanny as-well as during the days. They are now 2 years old and I still help them occasionally over night and adhoc days and babysit for them when the parents go out of an evening.

I have recently been helping a few families with their twins. I helped a family with night nannying and some hours during the day for twins of 3 weeks old but they were both 6 weeks early so they were rather small and had reflux. The boys are now 3 months old. I still keep in regular touch with this family

One family had twins aged 3 and half month who I night nannied for and they are now almost 1. Another family I helped had 18 week old twins that were 10 weeks early and they are now just over 1.

I also helped a family who had twins aged 9 weeks but they were 6 weeks early so when I started they were only 3 weeks and had a lot of complications with tongue tied and eczema as-well as having an allergy to dairy. They are now over one and I still keep in touch with them.

Duties in all these positions were to wash and sterilise bottles, change nappies, bath the babies and dress them in appropriate clothes depending on the weather. Play and entertain the babies, and make sure they are safe and provide age appropriate activities at all times.

I looked after a little boy of 2 for a week as a hotel babysit and they asked me to continue babysitting for them as and when needed.

Cache Level 2 and 3 in Childcare and Education
Level 2 in understanding Autism
DBS
Safeguarding
First Aid trained
Various training courses and certificates in working in partnership with parents, child and toddler development, playing outside, encouraging speech and child safety.
