About Me
I have been married for 34 years and we have 2 grown up daughters, and one daughter still at home. A childminder for more than 25 years, I have a nursing background, and lived in the Middle East for 6 years where I worked as a kindergarten teacher and a classroom assistant. We relocated from the Midlands 3 years ago, and live round the corner from the Chewton Glen Hotel.
Hobbies include cooking, sewing and anything creative.
My Experience
I first registered as a childminder with Social Services in 1989, and re-registered with Ofsted in 2002.
I enjoy working with children, and work hard to provide high quality care and education. I am Registered to provide Nursery Education for 2, 3 and 4 year olds, enabling parents to use part/all of their free Nursery entitlement hours against their fees.
My husband now works as my assistant so we can cover parents shift patterns.
My Qualifications
I completed a Foundation Degree in Early Years which took me 4 years with Open University.
I hold current Paediatric First Aid, Child Protection, Level 3 Safeguarding, and Food Hygiene certificates.
My husband holds a current Paediatric First Aid certificate, Food Hygiene Level 2, and Level 2 Safeguarding.
My Availability
Due to children starting school, we will have 3 vacancies from September 2018.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £7.50 per hour
- Childminding from £4.30 per hour
Evening babysitting fees (in childs own home) are £7.50 an hour.
Usual Childminding fees are £4.30 an hour, and include quality meals, snacks drinks and outings.
