About Me
I am an Outstanding Ofsted registered childminder and a fully insured PACEY member.
I collect and drop children to the local Catholic school.
I originally registered as a childminder 25 years ago when my children were young and worked as a childminder for 6 years.
My smoke free home is in a cul-de –sac in Howden Clough with easy access to the M62 /M621, Leeds, Morley, Wakefield and Bradford.
My aim is to provide high quality home based childcare where your offspring will be well cared for and valued as individuals. I provide a warm and caring home from home environment where children can grow and develop securely preparing them for school and their life ahead. I see my minded children as an extension of our family.
The Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum is the basis for our play and learning.
Throughout the day in my care, observation will be key to ensuring that the needs of your child are supported.
I have an enabling environment that is supplied with toys that will support your Childs learning needs.
Free play is also encouraged as it develops a child’s imagination and decision making skills.
Attention to children’s emotional, social and environmental well-being is an integral part of my care. Each child is unique and has different needs – this will be respected in my setting.
Children will also have the opportunity to take part in many activities outside the home such as play gyms, parks, children’s centres, farms, libraries and trips in school holidays.
