About Me
My name is Louisa and I am a level 5 qualified nursery nurse with a foundation degree.
Although I currently work in a nursery I feel that I would have a lot to bring to a nanny role - including my ability to make learning activities fun!! Having spent the last 10 years working in a nursery, I have been able to learn from other people who have many years experience in the childcare sector, as well as gain a lot of valuable experience of my own
I have 10 years experience working with children up to 5 years old, most of which has been spent with the over 2's.
I am able to be flexible in terms of hours worked to suit the needs of a family.
My Experience
I have worked at a nursery with children up to 5 years old for the last 10 years. My daily duties include providing fun and educational learning activities, encouraging personal social and emotional development and wellbeing, potty training and general care of children.
As a room leader I also have experience leading a team. Although this is not necessary for a nanny role, it has given me a lot of experience in using my initiative throughout the day
As room leader and language lead, I have experience in supportive parents with new developmental milestones, behavioural challenges and additional needs
My Qualifications
GCSE's including Maths and English
Btec National Diploma in Children's Care, Learning and Development Level 3 - Triple Distinction Grade
Basic paediatric first aid
Foundation degree in children, families and community health
My Availability
I can be flexible to suit the needs of the individual family and am open to discussion on days and hours, although I require full time employment.
