I'm Lisa and I'm 26 years old.
I enjoy spending time with my family and also socialising with my friends. I have a keen interest in music and dance. I dance on a weekly basis and often go to exercise classes to keep myself fit. When working in a nursery I like holding physical activity sessions, which include ring games, party games and 'copy me' games.
My Experience
At college I had placements each lasting 5 months. These placements included a nursery setting, a reception class in a primary school, a special needs school with children aged 4-7 and a 0-2 year placement.
I have worked within 4 nurseries over the past 7 years with children aged 6 weeks old to primary age. I currently work in a baby nursery caring for children aged birth to 2 and a half years old.
I currently babysit for families whose children are aged 1 year - 11 years. I like to entertain the children that I am babysitting by playing games, e.g, games in the garden, 'schools - show and tell' or building lego skittles to knock down with a new ball!
My Qualifications
I completed an NVQ Level 3 in early years in 2005. I have current first aid and food hygiene certificates. I have attended levels 1 & 2 of makaton sign language and worked in an affiliated sing and sign nursery.
My Availability
I currently work as an early years practitioner in a children's centre nursery. I am interested in babysitting on weekday evenings and weekend days or evenings/nights within approximately 10 miles of Midsomer Norton.
