About Me
I am a fully qualified, first aid trained, Ofsted registered Nanny with over 15 years experience. I believe that I work well as a nanny because I am very reliable and trustworthy and feel that one valuable quality is that I am very patient and supportive toward young children. I am a caring person that is willing to help and support others around me. Communication is one of my strongest qualities especially when interacting with children, their parents and other individuals who I would meet during the care of your children. This will especially help in difficult situations and enable me to communicate in a clear and appropriate manner.
I was born on the 17th March 1988 at Harlow hospital and lived in Broxbourne for 24 years before moving to Royston where I have brought my first home with my husband of 9 years.
I have one sibling, a brother called Ross who I am very close to.
Working with children has always been important to me and has been an interest thought out secondary school, time at college and while I have been currently working as a nanny.
My Experience
I started my working career in 2007 as a mother’s helper looking after three young children the youngest being only 4 weeks old. I started as a mother’s helper as I wanted to gain more experience in the family home, I was with this family for three years before I moved on to become a full time nanny for a family of four in Loughton. I worked for this family for three enjoyable years before sadly having to leave in September 2013 due to the youngest starting full time education. I then found a lovely family in Cuffley who I worked for for three days ( Monday-Wednesday ) I was working for this family from January 2014 till March 2021. My position came to an end with this family in March 2021 due to the currently situation (covid)
I am now currently caring for a little boy who is 21 months, sadly this position is now coming to an end so I’m now looking for a new position.
Whilst I was studying at college I was placed in many professional working roles with children as part of the hands on training. This was varied in that I was placed in many schools, nurseries and within the family home.
I have also gained additional experience in my own time such as baby sitting, to help further my experience with working and understanding young children’s behaviour and developmental needs.
My Qualifications
In 2007 I gained a level 3 qualification in CACHE Diploma in Child Care and Education, which has taught me sufficient skills to help care for your young children.
As well as achieving the DCE, I gained a level 2 CACHE certificate in Child Care and Education previous to the DCE course, which has helped my understanding and knowledge of child development and learning.
I also have an up to date first aid certificate.

I am ofsted registered
I have my own nanny insurance
I have 8 references from previous and current employers
and I have a clean driving licence
My Availability
I’m looking for working hours of 9am-5pm but can be slightly flexible.
