About Me
Hello! I'm Claire - an Ofsted graded Outstanding registered Childminder based on Heatherside in Camberley.
I have an 18 year old daughter, Hannah, and we have three beautiful cats called Whiskey, Louie and Derek!
Some of you locally may already know me from my other business - Fascinating Faces - offering professional face painting the Surrey and Hampshire area - and I have also worked at Bright Sparks Montessori Nursery School and Heather Ridge Infant School.
I re-trained as a child minder in 2014 - I LOVE working with children and have enjoyed every moment of the last 9 years!
I currently work Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8am to 5pm but I am happy to discuss requirements on an individual basis and will be flexible wherever possible.
I only offer a very limited number of spaces as I want to keep my setting small and exclusive and very much a home-from-home environment.
We visit local Toddler Groups; outdoor playgroup, local libraries and parks - especially love feeding the ducks at Lightwater Country Park plus visits to National Trust parks and Wisley Gardens!! ! And, of course, with my artistic background, arts and crafts are always on the list!
My Experience
As well as being a full time Mum to my own daughter I have also worked as bank staff at Bright Sparks Montessori Nursery School and Heather Ridge Infant School; the latter helping in the classroom and on lunch duty.
I was heavily involved with the running of my daughter's toddler group and work with children every week with my face painting business.
My Qualifications
I am Ofsted registered (graded Outstanding August 2016 and June 2022) and have completed the Surrey County Council CHiP (Childminding Information Programme) course, which gives training in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
