My Experience

I have been working in childcare for 14 years now, I honestly do not know where the time has gone! I genuinely love being a nanny and find it super rewarding but “the fit” has to be perfect, for me this is paramount. If this is the case everything runs smooth, all on the same page and both have the same respect and morals. I have found in my experience if the fit isn’t right then sadly this isn’t the case and can be challenging. This is why I’m allowing myself a lot of time to find my perfect family until early next year, my goal out of this is hopefully it will be a very long term role.

I have been nannying for 11 years now and three years prior to that I worked in a private school as a nursery nurse. I also ran summer clubs/after school clubs getting as much experience as I could from all ages 3-12, I have baby sat for many different families over the years too.

I really enjoyed the homeschooling aspect of what came with being a nanny. My schooling background definitely helped with this as I knew the EYFS and curriculum well. I’m organised and I think this was crucial, keeping the children focused and engaged but making it all a really big game definitely helped!!

As a nanny I feel I bring to the table positivity (always!!!!) glass is always half full not half empty, I’m bubbly, reliable, (do not remember the last time I was Ill!!) engaging, fun but firm, I have 14 years experience under my belt, great glowing references to provide, clean driving licence, a clean up to date DBS check, paediatric first aid trained. I’m looking to work as a nanny in Stevenage, Welwyn, St. Albans, harpenden, hertford and Royston.

I’m more than happy to go beyond your childrens needs too. Such as family laundry, bed changing, batch cooking, food shopping, post office runs, childrens PA to all related things such as school uniform, dentist appointments, hair dressing appointments, keeping an up to date school calendar such as inset days, occasional days, non uniform days, school holidays, making cakes for the cake sale all that fun kind of stuff.

My Availability

My availability for work term/holiday is asap as is my babysitting.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)

My nannying hourly rates are £11 NET.
