Hello….
I have over 30 years experience working with children and animals.
I was based in Dunfermline, Scotland until June of 2023 where I started my own dog walking business in July 2020 ( I was a nanny for 10 years prior to this and COVID) As much as I enjoyed spending lots of time with our furry four legged friends and running my own business, my circumstances changed and I had to close my business and relocate back to Cheshire.
I have now decided to relaunch my dog walking business and combine my two greatest passions and offer after school
care along side my dog walking business.
I would describe myself as fun, caring, sporty, reliable, adaptable, trustworthy, determined and hardworking as well as an animal lover. Over the years I have owned horses, cats, dogs, a rabbit and some Fish.
During my free time I enjoy walking my dog, running, yoga, swimming, horse riding ( although not done it in a while) travelling and I enjoy listening to audiobooks whilst walking my own dog.

My Experience
My career as a nanny started over 30 years ago, and after I had done a summer camp in Pennsylvania USA teaching horse riding. I was working on a competition yard looking after horses and I use to babysit for the owners two boys then aged 2 and 4. When I left that job I was recommended to a couple of their friends, and they had 2 girls age 5 & 8 and 1 boy age 10. It was with this family I had my first experience of being a nanny share and looking after a 6 month old baby boy. I thoroughly enjoyed looking after the 6 month old, but most of my jobs since then have been with children aged 5 to 14 years old.
I had a career change into retail/management for a while, but decided to go back to being a nanny just over 10 years ago as I find it a fun and rewarding role.
My experience Is mainly looking after all ages of children but most recently children from age 5 to 14 years old. My duties have generally been all nursery duties, including laundry, preparation of healthy meals, school runs, taking to after school activities, helping with homework, arranging playdates and days out, encouraging outdoor play, not very good but happy to play a bit of football, baking, food shopping, dog walking, proxy parenting.
My Qualifications
I hold an Emergency Paediatric first aid Certificate.
I have an up to-date PVG/ Enhanced DBS.
My Availability
Monday-Friday from school pick ups onwards/ overnight
Saturday evenings.
