My Experience

I have been a nanny for the last 20+ years so lots and lots of experience. Caring for children from as young as new born up to school leaving ages.
I do like to be able to take the children out of the family home be it in the car or walking to go and do activities or a day out.

I've been very fortunate with all of my families to have a wonderful relationship with the parents as well as the children. I've been very lucky to become very much "part of the family" as they have become a part of mine to. So much so I'm still in contact with most of my families I have had the pleasure working for.

All of my nannying positions have been a long term. I've seen them grow from babies to teenagers, which is what I would be ideally looking for in any future job's.

I have also worked in a nursery in the baby room, where I worked along side my room leader providing weekly plans for the children. I think I work well in a "team" myself and my room leader had the most lovely atmosphere in our room, and a nice friendship.

I have done over night cover as well as caring for children while parents have gone away with work/holidays. Keeping everything ticking over until they come home.

I'm happy to have a "muck in" attitude to help around the house where needed.

I can be very flexible with advanced warning, and like to think I can help where ever I possibly can.

My Qualifications

N.V.Q level 2 in child care and education.
Many years of experience with children aged new born to leaving secondary school.
I have also just completed a course in understanding autism.
I'm more than happy to become ofsted registered,if needed but it would be at the employers expense.
I can renew my 1st aid and DBS if required.

*I do have an updated DBS which I've done recently so I'm able to help out at my daughter's young farmers group*

My Availability

Hello, I'm beginning to tentatively look for my next "family" my current family have come to the stage in my current job where they no longer need a nanny as the children are all grown up! Ideally I would be looking to start in September 2024.
I would like to find myself a long term position. I don't really want a before and afternoon school position as I would like to be home for my children. I'm also happy to discuss part time positions.
I like to think that I'm a very friendly person,down to earth and trustworthy. I've very rarely been off sick, and try my very best to always help out if I can.

I'm still contact with all if my previous jobs and love hearing about all their new adventures.
I've been very lucky with all of my families and been made to feel very much part of their family.
I have some lovely references from my previous employers, and happy for you to contact any of them.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
• Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)

My hourly nanny day rate would be £14. 00ph

Overnight fee could be discussed if needed.

Babysitting rate is £10.00 an hour, going up to £15 an hour after midnight.
