My name is Bryony, I am 26 and I am a Qualified Primary School Teacher. I have been teaching for 6 years in mainstream primary and junior schools and I am now teaching in a local SEN school. I currently offer additional babysitting work on weekday evenings, weekends and during the school holidays I provide one- off or regular babysitting- I have a vast amount of babysitting experience. I live in Addlestone, but I am happy to travel to all local surroundings areas.
As I am a primary school teacher I have worked with children of all ages from new born babies to 15 year olds, as part of my training and my job. I have also babysat for numerous families within the local area.
I am a confident, trustworthy, outgoing and reliable individual, who has a wealth of experience within the child care industry. I want to provide for you the highest level of child care and I thoroughly enjoy looking after children and the rewards it gives me on a daily basis seeing children flourish and grow.
I am here to offer you the best experience I can with babysitting for you with my wealth of experience and knowledge about the child care industry. I am extremely adaptable and enjoy sporty and outdoorsy activities, but can also do creative and arty activities too. I have experience with outdoor learning, but also trained in dance and drama throughout my childhood. I am an extremely creative person and love finding a range of activities that children enjoy from creative activities to sensory sessions or sports activities.
As I am a class room teacher, I have a wide range of experience looking after children with additional needs. I have experience looking after children with dyslexia, ADHD, autism, down syndrome and many more. I also have personal experience looking after children with additional needs as a member of my family has additional needs. I have experience looking after children with a range of medical needs and allergies too.
Since moving to Surrey I have also begun tutoring for a number of local families with primary aged children. I tailor my weekly/bi-weekly sessions to the child's needs and will meet with parents before hand to discuss their child's current targets and areas for needs. I was previously a class teacher at a very well known local junior school, who have an OFSTED rating of 'Outstanding', but I also have experience of doing school pick ups for a family and caring for a number of families in their own home.
I have completed overnight and weekend babysitting for many families and this is something I would be more than happy to do if it was needed.
Before and during my teaching degree I gained experience looking after children of all different ages I volunteered in a a few nurseries, many primary schools, in special needs settings and also in a secondary school.
I began babysitting when I was just 17 years old and over the years have done a range of one off and regular babysitting for many different families, who I am still in contact with now and could gather references from if they were required.
I have good basic makaton skills, which I have learned through personal experience as a member of my family uses makaton to communicate.

My Availability
Every weekday from 6pm onwards for babysitting.
Every weekend any time during the day or evening when needed.
I am available for over night babysitting or full weekend babysitting also.
