About Me
I am 26 years old and I live with my partner in Hoo, Rochester. We own our own house and I have a lot of experience with young people.
I’m a caring and loving person. I have recently just had a baby myself who is now 5 months and it’s made me realise I want to get back into the childcare sector. I love to bond and spend time with children as well as cleaning and cooking which I enjoy
I am very enthuastic and motivated when it comes to working with children as to me it doesn't feel like a job, it feels more of a hobby as I enjoy working with them. I understand that all young people have their individual needs and personalities so I have different approaches when it comes to young babies and children.
I work around the EYFS.
EYFS frame work provide your child safe and learning environment.
I am currently employed within the prison service as a People Manager
My Experience
I have many years experience as I left school and went straight into my desired job of being a nursery nurse. I enjoy working with young babies and children and am highly enthusastic when working with them. I have also done 4 years of volunteering work with people with disabilities. Where we would take them on trips away and day outs.
I worked in the nursery for 7 years and worked throughout the different ages. I worked from babies starting at 3 months to children in pre-school at 5 years old. I also then worked with children and teenagers in an afterschool club. I also worked well and bonded with young people and their parents; which I then went on to babysit the children when they left my nursery I was working at. I think relationships with the parents are as important as with the young children and babies.
My Qualifications
Level 3 Working with Children / Childcare
Foundation degree in Youth Justice
Apprenticeship in Nursery Nursing
DBS Check
First Aid trained
My Availability
Currently on maternity leave so very flexible with timings although this potentially would be with my little one as well if that is not minded. So regarding my availibility it would be best when we get to this to have that conversarjon
