My name is Chen, a native Chinese speaker from Beijing, I moved to Maidstone with my husband(British) and our little one in 2021.

I am a positive and approachable person with patience. I love children and know how to get on well with them. All my clients are satisfied with my work.
I am not a trained babysitter or nanny, but I have part-time childminder/babysitter experience. My main job is teaching Chinese to children. I am a qualified Chinese/Mandarin teacher with a certificate of teaching Chinese GCSE and other Chinese teaching related certificates. I used to work in schools, nurseries, clients' office/homes in London. I used to run my own weekend and after school Chinese classes in London for children under 10s. 5 in West London, 2 in South East London and one playgroup in Bromley where parents and toddlers learn together. The age of my students are 7+ months.
My Experience
I have taught Chinese to babies, children and adults and find the experience very rewarding. With regards to children, I have no problem with delivering both their educational and behavioural needs. I also have experience as a teaching assistant, helping foreign teachers to teach Chinese at the International School of Beijing, as well as childcare center experience when I was working on Cruise ships.
I also worked as a childminder when I was in Bournemouth, Dorset.
Furthermore, I have experience of teaching Mandarin to people who have learning difficulties.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £36.00 per hour
One to one tuition: from £35 per hour.
Babysitting: from £12 per hour. Minimum 2 hours.
Babysitting with Mandarin teaching: from £75 for 3 hours.
Childminding/babysitting at my £8 per hour including snacks/fruits/light refreshments.
