About Me
I am currently a support worker with adults with learning disabilities of varying degrees from mild to severe at a day centre.
I have looked after children for 7 years so I am good at what I do and I am confident in my abilities. I love children, which is why I chose to be a nanny. Growing up I had nannies of my own so I understand the importance of a nanny in terms of being helpful to the parents as well as the children.
I am a young and energetic nanny, therefore able to keep up with energetic children. I have always enjoyed being around children. I like to have fun with kids, make them laugh and make them feel safe and happy and help them grow into well rounded little people. The most important thing is that children are happy.
I think children are funny, they never cease to make me laugh and amaze me with their intellect that is usually underestimated by most people. They have interesting things to say and I enjoy listening to their fantastic imaginations. They can be challenging, but they are only children and it is understandable behaviour. Nevertheless, they do not cease to be wonderful little people.
I have a current DBS covering children and adults.

My Experience
- I have taken care of children aged 0-8 years over 7 years.
- I have mainly taken care of 2-3 children (brothers and sisters) at a time and on occasion I have taken care of 6 children.
- I have worked in London, Milton Keynes and in Watford
- I do not drive, however, I use public transport or taxis to do the school run
- I prepare light meals for the children, help them with their homework, and perform light duties around the home.
- My duty is to the children.
My Qualifications
I am planning on taking a Pediatric First Aid course and I am considering registering with Ofsted.
My Availability
I am currently in full time employment working as a support worker with adults with learning disabilities.
You would have to discuss the times you need childcare to fit around my work.
