Barbara babysat for my daughter once on very short notice. We were so lucky to find her! My daughter is 15 months old and liked Barbara right away - she has a real gift with children. They were reading and playing together as we left the house, and I loved getting text updates as bathtime and bedtime passed smoothly. Very recommended.

Barbara was our nanny for three days a week from March to November 2011 and she has baby sat for us both whilst she was our nanny and since then. She looked after our son who was 13 months at the time she started working for us.

Barbara is very caring and quickly bonded with our son. She did a range of activities with him, including regular trips to the park, library, children's centres, mother and toddler groups and soft play centres as well as playing at home. She was also happy to bring him in to London to see us at work. She provided him with a fun and nurturing environment and took an active interest in his development.

Barbara looked after my baby girl over a long period of time, and it was clear from the start that she was going to be an absolute hit. She is patient, compassionate, experienced, conscientious, sincere and 100% reliable. My daughter beams and wriggles with excitement when she sees Barbara, and I believe her social, mental and physical development so far has been enhanced by the relationship she established with Barbara. When I have asked Barbara for advice on health issues and weaning, she has been very forthcoming, although she is always very respectful and non-judgmental in following instructions regarding routines, feeding, sleep etc. I can't recommend her highly enough. She really is a wonderful nanny.
