Hello my name is Susie Butler and I would like to welcome you to Susie’s Little Treasures
I live with my husband Jonathan, daughter Olivia born in 2009 and our three Labradors Gizmo, Penny and Sulley in Knaphill, Woking.
I have worked within the childcare sector since 2003 and have been childminding for over 10 years, I love what I do and it gives me such joy to watch the children learn and grow.
I provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children of all ages, from babies to school-age. I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and offer a wide range of activities to support children's learning and development. I work closely with parents and carers to ensure that each child's individual needs are met.
I have a spacious and well equipped home with a good sized garden, where children can play and explore. I also love to take children on outings to local parks, playgrounds, toddler groups and other places of interest. I have a full driving licence and car with appropriate insurance and child seats.
My Experience
I have an NVQ level 3 in childcare and education, a valid paediatric first aid certificate along side an enhanced DBS check. I am a gold member on childcare.co.uk and I have full public liability insurance through them.
I started my childcare career in a nursery with children aged 3months to 5years, where I gained my NVQ level 3. I them became an assistant room leader in the 2 year old room.
I went on to become a nanny which gave me more freedom to take children out and about and found the day not as structured as a nursery.
I returned to a nursery after my daughter was born and we moved to Surrey where I became a room leader of a 2 year old room. I mentored a trainee nursery assistant and had a nursery nurse to assist me. I did planning and observations and was a key worker for some of the children in my room.
After my daughter went to school I became a childminder to fit in with her first years and loved the job so much I'm still doing it, with no plans to stop.
I attend online webinars and some face to face workshops to keep my knowledge and skills up to date.

My opening hours are 7:30am to 17:30pm these times can be flexible to suit your needs

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.75 per hour
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
I charge £6.75per hour which includes all food & drinks, nappies, wipes etc, outings and toddler groups.
I accept the government funding:
9 months (available September 2024), 2 year olds (available April 2024), 3 & 4 year olds (available now)
I accept childcare vouchers and the tax-free childcare payments

Susie is an excellent stand-in childminder. She has been a great support to me when my main childminder was off sick and when I needed a "breakfast club & after school club" childminder for my 4yr old daughter.

Arthur has settled beautifully in Susie's care. She keeps him busy which he loves. Keeps us updated on her plans and activities they are going to do. We received pictures throughout the day
