About Me
My name is Gemma and I’m an Ofsted registered childminder. I have been Childminding now for over 12 years and can honestly say I love my job.
I live with my partner Daniel and our son Benjamin 14 and daughter Katie-May who is 10 years old.
We live in the Davenport area of Stockport close to Davenport train station. We have recently renovated our house so I now have a separate room especially for the children to play in with lots of toys and learning visuals. We love to explore in the garden and local parks and attend groups, play centres and lots of fun places.
My Experience
I have been childminding for 12 years now and have got two children of my own.
I have minded over 30 children in this time, most of them for 2 years before they move on to nursery or school.
I have decided to work term time only (based on the Stockport school term holidays).
My Qualifications
My qualifications:
9 GCSE's
3 A-Levels (including French)
BA (Hons) Degree
PASS in Introduction to Childcare Practice (Home Based)
OFSTED grading GOOD at last inspection - report available on request
First Aid Qualified and Safgaurding Certificate. CRB checked
Level 3 NVQ in Home Based Childcare
Member of the Accredited Childminding group in Stockport
