Working with children brings joy to my life, no two days are ever the same. If you work doing something you love it doesn’t feel like work at all, and this is how I feel about nannying.
I'm fun and laid back but I know where the line is, and so do the children. Rarely do I shout (I'm not a fan of raising my voice) but if I do they know it’s serious ! But the most important thing for me is having fun.
Having nannied in Italy and cardiff most recently for 10 years, I know the children's local play centres, toddler groups etc and am always first in line for story time in the local libraries. I try to make sure all my time spent with children is interesting and varied, visiting parks and beaches, picnicing, playing games inside or out, painting and getting messy, baking (which I love – so brace yourself for cakes !) and making the most of what South Wales has to offer; visiting the castles, st fagans, museum, cardiff story, techniquest, the barrage in cardiff bay etc.
I'm personally very active and enjoy long distance running, dance and music (I have grades in both piano and singing if the children need help practicing instruments, and I'm always singing to the little ones) and am also a qualified Zumba teacher.
I'm laid back in general but still manage to be organised and very sociable.
I have my first aid certificate as of 2021, and over 6 nannying references (who I am still in touch with to date).

My Experience
Plenty of childcare experience including newborn, twins, nannying, babysitting, daycare work, some special needs experience and as an aupair.
I have references from all employers, and a nursery if required.
Prince's Trust Award '06 + '09 (Working with children with disabilities), nursery assistant (6 months), nannying (7 years), au pair work (5 months) and plenty of babysitting.
Due to the mixture of tasks I undergo as a nanny/pa I've become more than capeable of taking on a variety of different responsibilities alongside childcare. I can help with anything secretarial/PA relating to businesses etc to getting a few loads of laundry done throughout the day - and anything inbetween.
My Qualifications
I have 11 GCSE's all B and above.
3 A Levels Grades A - C. (Law, English and History).
Diploma in Modern History and International Relations from Reading Uni.
Bachelors in Criminology.
