About Me

My name is Jessica and I been working in childcare for 17 years, with 15 years nannying experience. I have been a nanny for 9 years with my current family of 4 children, a 13 year old and 11 year old and a 9 year old and 5 year old which is coming to an end in October due to all the children now being in full time education. So I am currently looking for a new family to work with from November.

I am a loyal, enthusiastic and responsible individual that loves to work with children. I have a caring and creative nature , I love to make pictures with the children, with gluing and sticking, painting or just colouring and drawing. I like to take them to play groups and other activities where they can build up their social skills and learn to enjoy being active.

I like to become part of the family working along side you. Communication and trust are very important to me and feel it's very important that you feel comfortable leaving your children in my care. If we both feel happy then so will your children.

I am an easy going person and am very reliable and efficient, I am always on time for work and rarely off ill.

I am a flexible worker and am happy to help out however I can. I am willing to do light housework jobs, children’s laundry and changing of beds. I will prepare meals for the children, take them to after school activities and bathe them.

I see myself as a confident person and can work well on my own or with others.

My friends would say I am a happy, fun and loyal person. That I am passionate about my work and generally enjoy life, always seeing the positives.

My hobbies are creative mostly, I enjoy making cards for my family and friends for their birthday and other events. I like to play with and put up hair, always trying out new styles on my friends and the children I look after. I also enjoy swimming and going to the cinema. I love to spend time with my family and friends.

I am willing to be Ofsted registered and take a paediatric first aid course.
