About Me
I am 47 years old and I have two girls. One who is 27 years old and is a lawyer the other is 14 years old and is in year 9 of high school. I enjoy working with children and I am very creative I love doing arts and crafts. I am a keen gardener and love reading when I get a spare 5 mins.
My Experience
I have worked with children for the past 25 years. I have worked with children in nurseries all the way up to year 6 in schools. I have also brought my daughters up alone. I have a lot of experience working with children with special needs. Ranging from behaviour problems to Autism.
My Qualifications
I am N.N.E.B qualified and have a paediatric first aid level 3 I have done the child minding courses and completed safe guarding. Ofsted registered
My Availability
I have 2 spaces coming up in September for 0-4 years old at the moment and can provide 15hrs funded places for 2 year olds and 3-4 year olds and also offer the 30 hours funding. If you would like to contact me please find my details on the local council website thank you

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
My fees are £35per day £20 for half a day.. £5 per hour £10 for after school £5 for before school This includes all meals. These fees can be discussed according to hours needed. We go out a lot in the holidays to play centres, parks and other outings most days which are included in the fees unless we go on a special outing eg blackpool. During term time we go to playgroups, dance classes, walks in the woods, farms etc which are included in fees.

my two girls go here and they love it. One is 4 and one is 2. They started off at safe hands nursery (which where awful my eldest girl got held back in the baby room for nearly a year ). Anyway we where looking for someone who would really respond with the girls and after their first settling in days we never looked back. Char takes them every where from play centres to museums to parks and they even enjoy all the cooking and learning they do in her own home. Char has done so much with them I feel that I'm quite confident about my eldest girl going to school in September. She can write her name recognise numbers and some letters she is now so excited to go to school which she wasn't at the beginning of the year and that's all thanks to the support from char. Couldn't recommend a more genuine child care provider thankyou for all you do can't wait for my youngest son to start in September xx

Aw thank you guys for the great review I love having the little cuties they have come on so much and are now part of my family to. They are beautiful children kind and so caring I love every minute I spend with them xx
Charmaine is brilliant with my boys who are 10 and 6. They attend her setting every school holidays and they love it. No 2 days are the same whether they are baking, doing arts and crafts or playing outside and they are always going on trips to Manchester, Blackpool, local parks and museums etc. Nothing is too much trouble and its so reassuring when you have to work full time during school holidays that your children are well looked after and are having a brilliant time. Charmaine has always been very flexible and understanding if I have had to drop the boys off slightly early or pick them up slightly late. I would definetely reccomend Chars Childminding to anyone.
