My Summary

My Experience

I completed my ‘National Diploma in Children’s Care,Learning and Development Level 3’ in 2015 to a triple distinction grade. As part of this course I attended 5 different placements at various childcare settings working with children of all ages.

After finishing my course I worked in a busy Pre-School with children aged 3-5, carrying out daily tasks and routines,planning activities for the children and creating observations to track development. After leaving this job due to relocation I became an agency child care practitioner, as part of this role I attended many different settings to assist when nurseries needed staff to cover absence, this role helped me to be able to adapt quickly to different environments and teams of people. I also have experience caring for children with English as their second language as I volunteered in Nepal for 3 months teaching primary aged children about water, health and sanitation as part of a charity organisation.

My most recent job experience is within a toddler room at a local private nursery, I work two days a week alongside looking after my toddler at home ?

My Qualifications

I have a 'Btec National Diploma in Child Care,Learning and Development Level 3' earned from Worcester College at grade Triple Distinction.I also have an up to date paediatric first aid qualification, Safeguarding and food hygiene level 2.
