About Me

Hi, my name is Kathryn. I am 40yrs old and live with my husband Alan and our 9yr old son Cameron. We live is a quiet street in the Silvertonhill area of Hamilton.

My Experience

I have enjoyed starting up and running my childminding business for the past 3.5yrs. Previous to childminding I have had the experience of caring for children in a variety of settings from babysitting, through care of family and friends children, through church organisations and through my job as sick children's nurse within acute hospitals and community settings.
I enjoy welcoming our Little Button Mushrooms and their families into our home and working in partnership with the family to provide a safe, nurturing, inclusive, child centred and fun environment for each individual child.

My Qualifications

I have a BSc degree in nursing. I am trained in basic life support, child protection, GIRFEC, food hygiene and I am keen to develop further within the field of early learning and childcare.

My Availability

I provide childcare from 8am-6pm mon-fri as standard hours however I understand the difficulties that arise regarding out of hours childcare therefore I can negotiate early start/later pick up and also weekend cover if required.
