About Me
I'm 34 years old, male living in Sheffield with my wife. I have what can child care for nearly 18 years now with most my experience being in nursery settings. The last 2 years i have had long covid symptoms (don't worry not contagious at all) and although i have been working it has been as a part time roll and slowly building my hours up.
I am kind, patient, understanding, honest and i enjoy being with friends, playing board games and watching films. I am passionate about my work and truly enjoy working with children and creating new ways for them to explore, learn and play.

My Experience
i have been working in childcare for nearly 18 years mainly in nurseries over varying age ranges, including working as a room leader in toddler room (1-2years old) and have worked as a full time nanny (manny) for two years and during part of COVID then went back to a nursery setting as room leader once again. Unfortunately towards the tail end of the pandemic I caught covid that developed into long covid but I do unfortunately still live with now, listed initially affect my work but over the last 2 years I have managed to build myself back up to working in a nursery again although currently still at part time hours.
My Qualifications
i hold my childcare and education level 3
I also have a first aid and level 1 cooking and food hygiene and a DBS check (i would like to add i do have a caution on my DBS that is NOT childcare related)
I also hold small qualifications in drama outside of schooling that are performance skills 1&2 and level 2 award in the arts.
i hold a full uk drivers licence
and have been on various training courses on childcare, safeguarding and education throughout my time as a carer.
My Availability
I am currently looking for full time or part time work, i would be looking for Monday to Friday. I'm available for contact and interviews whenever they are best for you.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Nannying from £11.44 per hour (net)
fee's would depend on the job in offer (full or part time) and i think would be up to the employer to arrange and offer a suitable fee.

Stuart has been Manny to our two boys for a year and a half and we are sad to let him go (only doing so as we are switching to after school care in term time only).
Stuart has been a wonderful addition to our family - the all round best person we have had look after our kids. He is reliable, consistent, creative, helpful, flexible, and a genuinely lovely guy. He has always kept on top of all the basics, helped with their homework and stuck to any rules we have wanted to enforce (eg tech time!). He is a bit of a big kid too so when Halloween comes around he joins in with the kids and even won my eldest the world book day best costume in 2018!
Anyone who has any reservations about having a male Nanny, all I can say is I wish we had considered it sooner, especially given we have two boys. Happy to be contacted for any questions or as a reference.
