About Me
My name is susie.
I'm a very experienced childminder who has been childminding since 2002.
I have looked after a wide range of children ages from 4mths to 9yrs.
I love my job seeing children grow, develop and learn new things and love sharing feedback and pics with parents.
I do a what’s app page for parents and keep you updated regularly.
Sending pics and texts to tell you how your child’s days going and if the child is taking part then you’ll be sent snippets of their day.
I loved meeting new families over the years and still keep in touch with many after they have left some even telling me about the university they have chosen!
I see many children growing up and being in the local area nice to bump into them on occasions.
I embrace the new cultures and traditions of each family, I have been lucky to have learnt some very basic words in a few languages.
I live just me and my daughter who’s at secondary school she’s enjoyed growing up having little ones around.
I enjoy being out and about with the children. I live very close to windmill hill and victoria park area. We go to children centre childminder meet up locally and make great use of local facilities such as parks, farm library and softplay etc.
I also have plenty of toys and equipment to keep them all interested whilst at home, plus a safe enclosed garden.
I am currently minding two boys both nearly two years.
Usually 2 -3 little ones per day depending on ages.
I can provide many references from parents. These are written or i can give you telephone numbers to contact current parents to talk to about the care i have provided for them.
My interests are art, audibles, thrillers and I love dance I have tried dance techniques from many different countries.
Also enjoy Yoga cooking cycling.

My Experience
I have up to date first aid also ofsted registered and insured.Activities planned in line with your childs development/interests and the early years foundation stage..I did introductory childminding practice before starting, behavior training,child protection.I hold a level 3 diploma in childrens care and education and forest school introductory.
My Qualifications
Level 3 diploma children young peoples workforce. First aid lots of other training courses.

My son was with Susie for around 2 years from when he was just over 1 years old. Susie helped Finlay settle in comfortably and smoothly. Reassuring us that he was OK and sending photos as well. She took him on wonderful trips on the bus and train as well as lots of lovely local activities. She got to know him so well and genuinely cares about him and his interests. She is reliable, kind and easy to chat with. My son still remembers Susie and always asks to go back with her!

Susie has been a trusted, flexible and brilliant childminder. She looked after our toddler for nearly 3 years - he loved his time with Susie so much he wanted to go back in the holidays before starting School. The children under Susies care have a wonderful time, with plenty of adventures visiting the local area.
As a parent it's been so reassuring having Susie as our childminder, also being so accommodating and flexible with any additional childcare.

Susie has been absolutely fantastic, I couldn't recommend her highly enough! She's so kind and caring with our little boy, and he's really thrived with her. We love that they head out and about every day to parks, museums, the city farm, the aquarium, the beach, playgroups and lots more, so their days are packed full of fun and educational activities. They do lots of arts and crafts, stories and seasonal activities at home too, and she's always looking to develop his language and emotional skills. They also meet up with other local childminders, so there's a little gang of friends to socialise with.
She's been so reliable and trustworthy. We found her here on childcare.co.uk so didn't know her at all before, but in the past year she's really become a member of the family. If you're looking for an excellent childminder I'd 100% recommend Susie.
