My name is Lauren, firstly thankyou for looking at my profile!
I studied at the University of South Wales and graduated with second class honours, making me a Qualified Primary Teacher.
I chose not to go into teaching after completing my degree and have instead found a love for nannying.
I have two children, age 1 & 4. I am seeking a position which would allow me the flexibility to bring my youngest with me.
I have always worked with multiple children so rest assured having my own little one with me will not impact my capabilities in any way. I have found it’s lovely for all the children to have a new little buddy to spend their days with.
I have my own car which is insured for business purposes and I hold a full, clean licence.
I have undertaken a NEST Maternity Nursing Course so I am also a qualified Maternity Nurse/Newborn Nanny. I have attended some Sleep Training courses in addition to this. I also became a volunteer Breastfeeding Support Worker after having my own children.
I always complete and keep up to date with Pediatric First Aid.
And lastly, I can provide many positive references upon request.
My Experience
I have always worked with children and I undertook my Primary Teaching degree at the University of South Wales, graduating with second class honours.
I have been a full time nanny since August 2014 and before this was part time whilst at university. I really love my job and I am always finding new and interesting activities to occupy and entertain the children.
I have two children of my own and from this, feel that I can relate to all that comes with being a parent! I understand the mental load, the parental guilt and how we all parent differently, but with our child’s best interests at heart.
My children have both come with me to my nanny roles over the years (sometimes both together but mostly just one at a time) and it’s really lovely to see the bonds and friendships that the children grow.
My Qualifications
BA (Honours) Primary Studies with QTS degree - meaning that I am a qualified primary school teacher.
A NEST Maternity Nursing Level 3 Diploma
First Aid qualified
Breastfeeding Peer Supporter - I have been volunteering as a peer supporter for Epsom & St Helier.
My Availability
Currently I am not looking for more work. I am still available for ad-hoc babysitting throughout the week ?? Please message for more info.

- Babysitting from £8.00 per hour
