About Me
Hi ive been childminding for 13years, I live in a semi detached home with my 18 year old daughter I have secure gardens and lots of outdoor play space available with our mud kitchen, we are now working on growing areas and also have fantastic outdoor blackboards for the children to express themselves, this year we have had built an outdoor learning playroom so the children can get the most from the garden in all weather including outdoor washing facilities after all that messy play........I drive a 7 seater car which enable me to take the children out never worrying about not fitting everyone in especially during the holidays . What can I say I love my job and not a lot of people say that and mean it, I've always the company of children and no matter where I go I seem to be a magnet to them, I'm laid back but take my role as a childminder seriously, giving all the parent piece of mind that I will care for their children like I would care for my own...... :-) most precious thing in the world x
My Experience
I have been childminding for 13 years and have an svq3 in social services in children and young people and also have completed an svq2 in playwork ..i have undergone lots of relevant training for childminding including first aid, child development, pre birth to three health and infection control training , promoting positive behaviour in children , hygiene, child protection and am I am also registered with the environmental health as i provide food and am in their safe food scheme with a certified pass , children are the future and the way they are brought up today is what moulds them into the person they will be , so every day counts so as adults it's our job to make everday stimulating with lots of happy experiences and fond memories to look back on :-) x

I WORK FROM 6.45 TILL 5.30 IN THE EVENING I AM VERY RELIABLE AND NOT HAD A DAY OFF WORK DUE TO ILLNESS IN 16 YEARS AND WILL ALWAYS BE AS FLEXIBLE AS POSSIBLE WITH PARENTS FOR CHANGING HOURS TIMES IF THE NEED ARISES .

Caroline was an absolute god send!! Caroline looked after my son for nearly 3 years, I was very sceptical about getting a childminder but Caroline was recommended to me. From the day we went to meet her I knew my son would be in good hands we were made to feel very welcome from the minute we walked in the door so much do my son didn't want to leave. My son had lactose intolerance and Caroline was fantastic at irk cuffing interesting and healthy meals for him. Caroline helped with potty training and made it seem easy :-) Caroline always had the children busy playing, making crafts, out on trips and adventures my son never came home bored that's for sure. Caroline was amazingly reliable never had a day off in the nearly three years we used her service. Caroline really made us feel like a part of her family, very easy to talk to and discuss things with, my son loved every day that he spent with Caroline and the other children. I never once had to wiry whilst my son was in her care, I could go to work worry and stress free knowing my son was getting the best possible care and having heaps if fun!!
Overall
Searching for someone to look after your children is really hard. Caroline looked after my two children for almost a year. Once i was welcomed into Carolines house i immediatly knew she was the perfect person for the job!! My children loved every second of Carolines company. I was always delighted to hear all the things they had been up to while i had been working, Easter and Christmas keepsake arts and crafts made at Carolines are still a firm fixture brought out in our annual decirations!! During the summer Caroline always had her garden filled with plenty of outside toys.
One of the things i am very passionate about is my childrens diet...communucating this to other childminders could sometimes be difficult, however, Caroline always made sure there were plenty of balanced options available for my two. The best thing was i never needed to directly mention healthy eating to Caroline, its all part of the service provided! (my two still refer to broccli as 'Santas Trees'!
Caroline was a great childminder who provided my Children with lots of happy memories in a clean, stimulating, health promoting environment....if they didnt have to go to school, would still be there!!! Highly recommended and extremely reliable.
