My name is Karen I am 49 years old.
I was a registered childminder for 18 years and worked in the welwyn area for 12 years.
Then decided to become a nanny and have been doing this for 6 years now.
I am available to work in the welwyn, Hatfield, stevenage, Letchworth ,hitchin,stotfold and surrounding areas
I have a wealth of knowledge regarding children and their learning and feel that working in a home environment is beneficial to your child and having a consistent person in their lives help them to develop better and feel emotionally more stable.
I have two children of my own,My son Morgan aged 22 years and my daughter Madison aged 17 years so I have alot of experience also in running my own home and being domesticated
My Experience
I have worked as a Childminder since 2002 so have had a lot of experience and the experience also of being a mother of two.
And have gained 6 years experience as a nanny.
I am flexible and am able to work together with parents to provide you with the type of care you are looking for for your child.
I feel it's important to take regular trips out to parks, and toddler groups each week as well as visting farms , woodland walks etc as this helps the child's social skills and gives them the opportunity to mix with other children also enabling then to develop better.
I interact with other childminders,nannies too so have a great network .
