About Me
My Name is Gemma, I've been a nanny for about 20 years, I've worked in 6 full time nanny positions, I have two children who are 10 years old, and 9 months old. I'm a confident, hard working and reliable individual. I like to think that I have the ability to get on well with all types of people big and little! I hold a Nvq level 3 in childcare and education. I have my own car with a full, clean uk driving licience and I'm willing to use my car for work. I'm CRB checked and pediatric first aid trained, and Ofsted registered.
My Experience
I started off my career in a nursery setting where I worked my way up from nursery assistant to deputy manager before leaving my role there to go into nannying. I have been a nanny for the past 14 years and worked with 6 different families in that time with children from newborn-13years. I have worked in both sole charge and mothers help roles. I have experience with disabled children also. I am confident in preparing meals, play activities and experience for children of all ages as well as helping around the home with basic household chores and errands.
My Qualifications
I'm qualified to a NVQ level 3 but also hold certificates for university level childcare courses.
I'm crb checked, first aid trained as well as having other certificates in child behavior, food hygiene and safe guarding children.
I'm a driver with my own car and a full clean uk licience and Ofsted registered with public liability insurance.
My Availability
I'm looking for a full time or part time Job, Monday-Friday and the usual nanny hours of 10-12 hours per day for full time or 5-6 hours part time. I have 4 week notice period for my current job so would need to work that after according a job with the new family. I am also available to cover weekends and evening or weekend babysitting, a bonus would be being able to bring my youngest to work with me but not essential.
