About Me
As a busy mum of two lovely, friendly girls aged 6 and 3 (plus part time Stepmum to teenagers!) I fully appreciate the juggling act of being a working parent. After having the luxury of being a stay at home mum for the past couple of years, I am now looking to return to my childcare roots and become a nanny, allowing me to still be a full time Mummy to my own children whilst also providing high quality care and love to other children so that their parents can work too.
I am gentle but firm with a good understanding of children’s developmental needs, allowing me to provide them with what they need, be that an out door activity, something messy, or just some down time with snuggles and a good book! I am responsible and conscientious with a passion for childcare. Having my own children has highlighted more than ever the importance of having the right childcare and someone who takes the time to get to know your little ones individual ways.
My Experience
I have been working with children since 1995 when I started babysitting and working as a children's entertainer. I have also had experience as a teaching assistant in schools. I have nannied for babies and school age children and worked in various nurseries. I have worked as a room leader for all age groups before progressing to deputy and manager roles. My last role before becoming a Mummy myself involved managing an existing nursery with a team of 20 staff through a period of change due to new ownership. Since having children I have nannied for two families and most recently worked as a caregiver, providing care and companionship to the elderly in their own homes. My CRB, first aid and Ofsted registration would all need to be updated, but I am very willing to do this.
My Qualifications
NVQ level 3 in chiildcare
BA Hons in Education Studes (Early Years)
My Availability
I am looking to work approximately 16-20 hours a week over 2 or 3 days. I am available before and after school, but I will have to factor in drop off and collecting of my eldest at Stone school at 8:40 and 3:15 so timings and location are something I need to consider.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £8.00 per hour
- Nannying from £10.00 per hour (net)
Ideally £10 per hour but happy to negotiate!
