My Experience

I was a registered childminding before starting my maternity leave.

Before becoming a childminder, I had been a Nanny for over 9 years, in which I have worked for 4 different families.

Firstly, caring for 3 children, aged 12 weeks to 4 years. Where I learnt how difficult it can be to manage the varying needs of children in diverse stages of development. I gained the ability to care for each child individually, while paying close attention to the needs of the group.
Secondly, I had the pleasure of caring for beautiful energetic twins boys aged 2. Who taught me how different two personalities can be and how to find activities and care for both simultaneously.
My next position I cared for 2 bubbly intelligent girls. Who taught me how effective and important communication is.
My last nannying position was for 3 children, twin boys and their older sister. I cared for them since the twins were 13 months until they were 6. It is a great pleasure to be such a big part of their learning and development.

Previous to that, I was a nursery nurse for nearly 4 years working with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. I gained excellent knowledge in planning age appropriate activities.

In addition to 4 childcare positions, I have also worked as a part-time babysitter/child carer for several families over the last 16 years.

My Availability

I am currently looking for some ad hoc/temporary work, before I open back up as a child minder later in the year.

My Fees

• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
