About Me
Hi my name is Sonja
I have just moved to Trumpington from Histon.
I am a fun loving outgoing Nanny with many years of experience. I am voluntarily ofsted registered and have pediatric first aid training and am a fire marshall as well.
I am very keen to encourage learning through play and artistic expression. I especially like creating arts and crafts , messy play and exploring through new experiences. Model making, papier mache, instruments, paintings even just getting a huge box to decorate into a castle or rocket to play in.
I love puppetry and have lots of very popular puppets I bring to sessions , they can help with stories and songs and just getting the children laughing and talking.
I love to read and write stories for children and have been known to write books with illustrations especially for the children, and with silly voices the children are always keen to hear more.
I enjoy music and will encourage dancing and singing and noise making.
I love the outdoors and will love going on adventures to discover nature , parks and in warmer weather pools.
I like to cook , and can make healthy and nutritious meals for your children.
I believe that your childs time is precious and childhood should be enjoyed they should enjoy these years as it will make them confident happy children in the future.
I am happy to do some light housework .
I have plenty of very happy families more than happy to provide references.
My Experience
1-2-1 carer for autistic children
Over 15 years of childcare experience working in the home as a nanny and in nurseries.
I also have a wonderful 16 year old son.
I have experience using the son rise programme to help reach autistic children.
My Qualifications
Btec 1st in Care
Early years foundation stage.
My Availability
I am available now. Prefer 4-5 days a week , but can be flexible. Please do not contact me for only after school work, this will not be enough hours.
