About Me
My name is Adele I have been a childminder for nearly 10 years and live near East Surrey Hospital. I live with my partner Steve and 3 of our 5 children Leonie(24) Zac (15) and Jack (2). We are an animal loving family with two cats and two dogs a cockapoo and a springer spaniel. I choose to keep my animals separate from the children at all times apart from taking the dogs for a walk when they are home (they are walked daily by a brilliant dog walker who is also part of my childminding family).
My Experience
Before becoming a childminder I worked as a Family Support Worker in a local children's centre delivering play sessions including messy play, music sessions, baby message, speech and language support and I also delivered the Parenting Puzzle program. These are all things that influence the day to day life in my setting. I am very much a home from home setting and children become a much loved part of our family. My partner worked as my assistant for a few years but went back to his own business during Covid although he still enjoys coming in from work and joining in with the fun. We enjoy playing in the garden which is set up for all weathers and I am led by the children as to what they want to do out there. We have a mud kitchen with access to natural resources herbs, mud, sand, water etc. We have separate sand and water trays which are used in various ways. We attend a few very good toddler groups during the week which allows the children to explore the world around them. I also have National Trust membership which we enjoy making the most of. At home we do arts and crafts, daily song time with a props bag that encourages the children to join in we also have various story sacks and the children have free access to the toys and books at all times.
My Qualifications
Cache level 3 working with families and children. I completed my CHiP training in 2014 I am also trained in safeguarding and first aid and have an up to date DBS.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
I charge £6.50 per hour this includes meals, snacks and outings. I ask parents to supply nappies, milk and bottles.
