About Me
I grew up in St Andrews and apart from spells working away I have lived in the town all my life. On leaving school, my initial employment was in the retail sector which I feel, gave me an excellent grounding in dealing with the public. However, my real passion was caring for and looking after children. Now in my fiftieth year, I have over 29 years experience as a Nanny, working with a wide range of families that have needed discretion and confidentiality.
Away from work, I have a young Labrador, who enjoys walks on the beach and exploring the woods at Tentsmuir. When I am not looking after him I enjoy cooking and reading.
My Experience
As I said, I have over 29 years experience as a Nanny, both live in and out. The age range of the children in my care has been from newborn to teenager. My last job involved caring for 2 children, aged 8 and 18 months and I was in this position for just over a year, until the family returned to America. The older child had challenging behavioural problems that I dealt with in a calm and sensitive manner trying not to allow it to impact on the younger child.
I have full references available.

I have no formal qualifications in childcare, however, I believe my experience provides me with a wealth of knowledge in my field.
