I would like to introduce myself as the Founder of Teddy’s Home Nursery. I am registered with an Ofsted certified childminding agency. I have over 5 years experience delivering high quality care and learning opportunities to children aged 0-5 and up to 12 years. I have always had a strong desire and passion for early years and have worked in private nursery’s, childminder and play centre settings; helping to oversee, maintain and organise a clean, welcoming, and warm, child-friendly environment that is always safe and happy.
I am a positively fun, reliable, loving, and caring individual who has a strong desire and passion for early years. I am the proud mother of a happy 2-year-old boy who is my world.
Children are my passion and I love to see their little faces light up when they learn something new or find something they enjoy, I want to make a difference to their life, and unlock their full potential!
This inspired me to want to set up Teddy’s Home nursery, a home from home that sees potential in every child.
Teddy’s Home Nursery is a bright, colourful, and welcoming environment that is solely focused on the children, with various areas for play activities. The play room is rotated and new stimulating resources are always added that are bespoke to your child’s needs and interests.
We have a open, safe, secure outdoor space with a trampoline, slide, sandpit and a vegetable patch that the children love to take care of.
We have a safe secure space for sleeping babies who need their naps after a busy fun morning.
We have a good routine set out with a high standard of care and training. Set on the Early Years Foundation Stage, we plan lots of fun and educational activities set to keep them excited and learning. Spending our time singing, dancing and reading stories as well as messy play, paint, sand, and sensory cooking. I love to get involved with the activities as much as the children do, the messier the better!
Food plays a big part in your child’s development and so always includes a varied and nutritious menu to cater for all dietary requirements, we try to accommodate even the fussiest of eaters.
We love to be out every day, enjoying trips to parks, garden centres, soft plays, children's centres, music sessions and farms. The outdoors is such an important part of the early years physical and mental development, this is why it’s always included in our daily routine when the weather lets us. This is all included in the fees.
Keeping parents in the loop - We know how important every milestone is for parents that’s why use our app to record all the children’s progress and learning goals. We share photo streams of the children’s day with the parents, giving them regular updates and pictures. We like to keep all the children’s paintings and art work for you.

My Experience
Working as a childminder with babies aged 4 months-5 years. Working as a nursery nurse in a private nursery within the baby and toddler room. Working within play centres with children aged 5-12 years.
My Qualifications
OFSTED approved Registered childminder, childminding training, Ofsted Enhanced DBS, Ofsted paediatric first aid for life, Food hygiene training, NVQ Level 2 in childcare, NVQ Level 2 in Supporting young people, NVQ Level 2 youth Work.
FGM and Safeguarding/child protection training.

Polly is an extraordinarily trained and empowered childminder, but above all she is a wonderful woman and an exceptional mother. Unfortunately, due to personal problems, Ayan had to give up Teddy's Home Nursery, but I recommend it from the bottom of my heart, because you have the guarantee that your child is cared for, educated, fed.Thank you, Polly, for your care. In such a short time, Ayan is another child, you can see tremendous changes in his development and that is thanks to you.

My daughter has been with Polly since she was 6 months old, andy daughter loves Polly so much and she is always happy going there, and I can tell I have noticed she is developing mentally and physically so fast that I was impressed, alot of activities and fun everyday that can significantly affect ur child, the only reason I am leaving Polly is that we are moving to another area otherwise We would love to stay at Polly’s
I would highly recommend Polly for anyone looking for such a great and lovely care for his child that is trust worthy

My son went to Polly. She was his first childminder and she was brilliant they did amazing great activities he was busy doing lots of things visiting the park the horses and Polly provides great updates throughout the day. Your child will be in a safe loving caring happy environment. I really would have loved my son to continue but I needed someone until 630 and that was the only reason we left

We are so so pleased we chose Polly for our daughter! She only attends once a week and she has made so much progress in her time there. Polly does so many great activities with the children. We would recommend Polly 100%!

We are very happy with Polly our son made so much progress because due COVID he didn’t play much with other children and he didn’t know how to play nicely but now he’s so much more open and not a shy boy anymore he even talks more words now! And I love how open and honest Polly is I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing but also loving childminder. I trust her wholeheartedly with my son and I don’t do that easily.
