About Me
My name is Victoria Trudgill, I am 46 years old and I am an Ofsted registered childminder.
I live with my husband Paul and two teenage daughters Frankie & Ava
I have been a childminder since 2015.
Children have always been my passion. I love being outside and always take the children on lots of outings, to play groups, farms , parks , forests etc . All is including in my fees. I am a firm believer that, children learn more from being outside in the fresh air, playing and exploring together.
I care for Early Years children only , so I don’t do any school runs.

My Experience
As a busy mother of two, I am well aware of the demands and responsibilities involved in caring for children. I have no doubt that the experiences that I have had already with bringing up my own children and 8 years childminding experience help me in my role as a childminder. My children and the ones I care for are very well mannered, happy, friendly, children and mix in very well with other children. I have experiences managing their good and bad behaviour, illnesses, emergences, and real experience in teaching them what is right and wrong and how to reward them. I deal with negative behaviour in a positive way.
My Qualifications
I have completely lots of training, all my certifications can be viewed on meeting (too many to list)
But include a 12 hour course to obtain a Paediatric First Aid Certificate. Which is undertaken every 3 years.
I believe it is vitally important to continue to further my training and refresh my skills in order for me to provide a good quality childcare service. Therefore I will continue to complete further courses to develop my skills.
In addition to the above I believe that the following experience & skills will also assist me in providing a successful childminding service:
-I have the experience of being a mother of children who have been cared for by a childminder, nursery and after school care. I am therefore able to identify areas where that particular service has been successful and try to do the same, as well as learn from areas where I feel improvements could have been made.
-I have a very creative background. I will utilize my artistic talents and ideas when doing art and craft work with children.
-I am a fit and active individual with plenty of energy to provide children with a stimulating environment with a wide variety of fun and educational activities.
-I regularly attend playgroups where I have the opportunity to speak with other childminders and listen to their experiences and advice.
My Availability
My working hours are:
Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.30pm.
Overnight stays and Weekends may also be considered on a case by case request.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
I charge per session
Full day session 7.30am-5.30pm - £50
All fee's inc meals. I provide breakfast, lunch, tea and morning and afternoon healthy snacks.
