Hello, my name is Gemma Wetherall, I am 29 years old and I live in Beaconsfield. I am a flexible and experienced childcare provider, qualified in level 3-children’s and young people’s workforce. I am also Ofsted registered. I am reliable, hardworking, organized, creative and bubbly, with a passion for exploring and bringing out the best in the children I support and care for, with a range of techniques and qualities in which I possess. I have a loving nature and aim to nurture and become a real asset to your family. I have over 12 Years childcare experience with children and young people ranging from babies to young adults.
I have an extensive knowledge with special needs, especially regarding communication such as Makaton and PECS, epilepsy, moving and handling, gastronomy feeding and personal care. I have many qualifications in which I am proud of including first aid. I am looking to work 3/4 days a week preferably wed-fri to fit in with other commitments and my own son who is 2 years old. I am DBS Checked and hold a full clean driving license.
I love singing, dancing and all things Disney and Marvel! I love getting creative and messy with the children and doing fun and stimulating activities. Going on walks and outings and even on holidays with the children and young people I care for are all things I enjoy immensely.

I have over 12 years experience working with children/young adults from ages 0 months to adults of 26 years!
I began working in a nursery on completion of my A levels! I worked there for 2 and a half years with pre school aged children and then babies (8 months-18 months) Here I qualified NVQ level 3 in the children and young people's work force and achieved various other qualifications.
I am currently working as a private nanny and a special needs carer for young adults and at weekend I am a home carer for the elderly.
