I am 35 years old a single mother of a 4 year old and I have lots of experience with children from newborn up to 14 years of age. I am outgoing, friendly, responsible and very positive.
My Experience
I have worked with children since I was 17 years old babysitting cousins and friends children then I moved to Italy where I was a nanny to two beautiful Italian children in 2007, a little boy and his big sister aged 2 and 3. I loved it so much I would return every summer to help them with childcare at their request and I now regard them as my second family, I have had the pleasure of becoming part of a new culture and making new friends and seeing the kids grow up. I then worked with their cousins children, three little boys ages 9, 7 and 5 as their nanny and helping them learn English. I am very lucky to have a good relationship with both families and visit often and keep in touch with them all. It has been a pleasure to be able to see all the children grow up and know that I have had an impact on making their start in life the best it can be. I was also very lucky to go to Kenya at the end of 2014 and 2015 to work for three weeks as a volunteer assisting in a school as a teaching assistant. I have also worked in Lecco on Lake Como working for a high profile family with twins, I was responsible for making their meals, taking care of them everyday from when they woke up until they went to sleep at night and for creating stimulating, educating activities for them, I am so lucky to have a good relationship with all the families I have worked with. My most recent role has been for a family with 3 children aged 1, 8 and 11 who needed me 5 days a week and occasionally overnight as the parents worked away a lot. I am looking for childcare work as a nanny in a live out setting in the Glasgow area. I hope I can help you in caring for your kids, having fun whilst maintaining discipline at the same time.
