About Me
Hi, my name is Lacey and I am a mummy of 3 wonderful children.
Aged 6, 4 and 3.
My 2 eldest children attend school and nursery and my sweet natured 3 year old daughter is at home with me through the week.
I have been a stay at home mummy for the last 6 years whilst my dedicated husband works very hard and long hours.
The last year and a half I have worked with 3 differant families, nannying from their homes and doing before and after school runs from my house with my 3 year in tow.
I attend every play group and session available in my surrounding area and willing to travel to make sure the children in my care have the most enjoyable childhood and develop to their best ability.
The one thing I really enjoy watching is how confident and sociable the children have become and this is due to the constant interaction with others which is why I would really love to help other families and care for their children alongside maybe mine at times to continue providing my time and energy in to doing what I enjoy and love best.
My Experience
I studied child development in my GCSE's which I attended Backwell comprehensive school.
I then went on to get my BTEC level 3 National diploma in child care and early years at college green bristol.
I did a short stay in Madrid nannying for a english/Spanish family.
Which then led me to sign on to a child care agency which allowed me to work in a lot of differant child care settings in and around Bristol, experiencing different types of settings daily.
I then applied for a nursery nurse job in a private setting in Clifton and got the job which I attended for 3years and then decided I wanted more experience in a school setting which I applied for the job in a outstanding school in weston and got the job.
I absolutely loved my job there and enjoyed especially teaching the reception and years 1&2 to read !
I then fell pregnant with our first child and we realised as a couple we couldn't get much help with childcare and I was thrilled to be able to be a stay at home mum.
During this time I also got to help a family that needed morning and after school care for their 2 little girls alongside my own which was great for all children who all formed a really good bond and looked forward to each others company each visit.
I also worked with a lovely family nannying for their 2 year old little boy between September-march 2020.
I thoroughly enjoy every day with mine and the children that I look after, it's a truly wonderful experience seeing the world through a childs eye.
It's magnificent if your lucky enough like me to be able to do what I do and enjoy it so I have some hours available to continue this journey and do what I do best working with little people.
