About Me
My name is Alex, I am 36 and I am a friendly, loving, well educated, and dedicated childcare provider looking for a part time or weekend nanny position.
I am a mom of a sweet and active boy who is 2 and half years old and I am located in Crowthorne. I am looking for something in the area, but also willing to drive 30-45 minutes for the right position.
Ideal: Part time , mornings and early afternoons or possibly weekends.
Also, available for evening babysitting.
My experience is with various ages (from 5 months up to 14 years old) in a variety of different settings. I also worked for well-known people and extremely busy professionals and can provide brilliant references! However, I am down to earth, easygoing and I value modesty and common sense, treat others with respect and expect the same thing in exchange.
I have a fundamental knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage as well as supporting and managing child behaviour.
I believe in a soft approach, positive reinforcement, reasoning with the children but also in setting limits and being firm when needed. With a compassionate and reassurance nature and a confident and engaging approach, one of my top priority is to create a safe, stimulating, loving and consistent environment.
I like to plan fun, interactive and educational activities accordingly to the kids' age, to keep them engaged. On a daily basis, I can do arts and crafts, reading, singing, dancing, baking, painting, messy play, science experiments, playing games, but also be outdoors, take daily walks to the parks, playgrounds, go to playgroups, classes, soft play, other fun places for children to keep them entertained. I can also offer support with homework and other school projects.
I am an experienced driver (13 years) with clean driving license, have high ethics and working standards, excellent cooking and organizational skills and lots of impeccable references available upon request. If you need someone who is committed, loving, cheery, bright, educational focused, creative and likes to initiate games, crafts and play and also loves the outdoors, I am the right match!
My Experience
I have a great 13 years of experience and interest in children and in their development.
In Jan 2021, I became a first time mom of a gorgeous little boy. My last position before I went on Maternity Leave was to look after a 15 months old boy for almost a year in Walton on Thames. Previous to that, I provided care for two sweet and energetic girls (3 and 5 y.o.) in Teddington.
2015-2018 I’ve had a live-in role in Maidenhead for 3 years for a busy professional family providing daily care for 3 children (7B , 10G , 12B,) and alongside I juggled with other roles, looking after twins of 11 months , and another girl of 16 months.
Another roles: Au Pair position and 3 live-in long term nanny jobs in Germany and USA plus many other live-out, full-time, part-time and occasionally nanny jobs and each experience was wonderful. I became a nanny in UK 6 years ago and we are now settled here.
I am passionate about children so being a nanny is more than just a simple job to me. Each position I've had was unique and I easily adapted and respected each parents' requirements and fully met their expectations. My resourcefulness, kindness, and caring demeanor have been greatly appreciated and after many years, I am still in contact with the families that I’ve worked for. It’s just part of who I am to develop a special and close relationship with every child that I work with.
I have a Masters Degree in Communication and worked in different fields, but I find working with children to be truly rewarding. It is amazing to see how you can shape a child's development and have a positive impact on their lives and this is something that I'd love to continue to do.

Alex has worked with us for a few months as a part-time nanny for our daughter, who is now 15 months. During this time she has consistently provided fun, stimulating and creative activities for our child every day as well as generally taken care of her. Our daughter adores Alex, which in itself speaks volumes.
I have found Alex to be extremely professional (punctual, reliable, conscientious with agreed routines, voluntarily providing on a daily basis a written account of her activities, accurate in transactions). She is also warm, with a confident, relaxed demeanour.
Unfortunately my work schedule no longer coincides with Alex's availability and she is going to be very much missed.
In summary, I highly recommend Alex.
