About Me
Hi, I'm a full time working mum, with a soon-to-be 4 year old boy. He goes to nursery in our village at the moment and will be starting school in Stamford in September. We're a friendly, lively household, we're looking for someone to support our busy lives with some childcare and help at home. We’re flexible with hours for the right person.
My Requirements
We're looking for a before-school nanny/au pair/housekeeper Monday to Thursday from 7-9/10am.
The perfect person will:
- Be sensible, caring and nurturing,fun, conscientious, love playing, chatting and engaging with a lively and curious pre-schooler.
- Confident to manage household tasks with pre-schooler 'helping' (he loves 'helping'!)
- Confident to be responsible for child's well being and safety
- Happy to engage with grandparents/other family visiting
- Have excellent references
- Have experience and / or qualifications in care of young children.
- Have clean driving licence and own car (we will provide car seat)
Here's what the job will be:
- Responsible for our child from 7am-9am
- Dropping child at nursery for 8am in the village / from September at school in Stamford for 9am / alternative in school holidays
- Supervising breakfast and getting child dressed for school
- Morning household tidy (making beds, plumping cushions, putting toys away, loading/unloading dishwasher, washing up)
- General household chores (putting laundry in washing machine / tumbler, hanging washing on line, ironing, putting clothes/towels/linen away, taking in supermarket delivery, watering plants/pots)
- Confident liaising with cleaner, gardener and organizing specialist household tasks as needed (decorator, plumber, maintenance work etc)
