Hello!
I am a friendly 30 year old who has worked in childcare for over ten years now in various forms. I have known for a very long time that Childcare is where I wanted to be. I started my adventure as an Au Pair (nanny) I loved my time with the family helping with homework, laundry, setting up fun activities for the children and have lots of fun with them. Since working in Nursery's I feel I have found my career for life, childcare. However I have realized over time that I miss being a nanny as it allowed me to really focus on the children and less paperwork and would very much like to take on that role again. I am currently the Toddler Room Leader and duty manager at my setting. I have also been a baby room Leader.
I have a clean drivers license and drove for the family in America.

My Experience
I spent two years in America as an Au Pair for one family. My duties included school runs, food shopping, light housework, taking the children to after school activities, cooking for them and taking care of them throughout the holidays. I have also spent just over three years working in Nursery settings where I completed my apprenticeship and moved through the one nursery to become senior nursery nurse. In the nursery I worked in the baby room, Toddler room and Kindergarten room. Over the last year I have worked in a setting as Unit Supervisor for the babies and have enjoyed my time working closely with the team to provide the babies with the best care possible. I am also third in charge of my setting and work closely with my manager.
My Qualifications
CACHE level 3 diploma in children's development and young peoples education
Level 5 In Management and Leadership in childcare
I am fully pediatric first aid trained
Hold a food hygiene certificate
Have an up to date DBS check
Trained in Manual Handling
Epi Pen training
Lead Safeguarding practioner
Maths, English, Science, History, Drama, Music, ICT, RS and Graphics GCSE's
Ancient History, English Literature and Language and Media A levels.
