About Me
I am a kind and professional lady who has been in the teaching profession for 16 years. I am confident and caring and am not phased by child care situations. I have very firm boundaries but am calm and caring at the same time.
My Experience
I am qualified primary teacher.
I started my career at The Dragon School in Oxford. I was a Senior Matron and subsequently Assistant house parent in a boarding house for 50 girls aged 10 -13. I then did two years teaching practice at The Dragon. I was then offered a job at Beeston Hall School in Norfolk. I again did two years of boarding and pastoral duties looking after both boys and girls in the boarding house aged between 8 -13 years. I have done basic first aid training and taken children away on holiday as the head supervising first aider. After leaving the boarding house, I completed a further two years at Beeston Hall.
I have worked in various State Schools as a Year 4 class teacher and also a Teaching Assistant.
I have also tutored a number of students in the last 5 years. I have tutored children between Years 1- 6 and also the 11+.
