Hi all!
I am a 35 year old Italian nanny, with a degree in Education and more than 10 years of experience as a nanny and nursery assistant.
I worked in London and Italy, but I currently live in Edgware. I recently certified as an infant sleep coach and adding few bits such as baby massage and toddler yoga. I can drive and have my own car.
My current position will end in 3weeks and I am looking for 30ish hours a week, either 3 full days or 5 half days (afternoon preferred). A nanny share will be ok too. The more the merrier!
I enjoy working with kids, especially during their early years. I have experience with newborns, I did nanny share and in one of my last positions I was looking after 3 under 5.

My Experience
I have several years experience with children from newborn+.
I have been a long term nanny for four families (three of them in London), and I worked occasionally and on a short term basis for others.
I was a nursery assistant and after school educator in partnership with my University.

Silvia has been a wonderful part-time nanny and babysitter for my twin baby boys.
She is calm, patient and has a passion for bringing out the best in babies. Her manner is extremely professional and she is very good at fitting in with the family. She is happy to help with whatever is needed and often anticipates problems. With the babies she seems to know instinctively if they need a cuddle, a song or a tickle to keep them happy. She is also safety conscious and I have no qualms leaving her alone with one or both babies at a time.
My smaller twin is also on home oxygen and Silvia learned how to handle his oxygen needs and medical equipment with care.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their children.
