About Me
Hi. My name is Nicola but everyone calls me Nic. I live in Lowton with my Husband and my lovely little boy who’s 5 years old. We enjoy visiting new places and spending days out together as a family. My own personal interests include musical theatre and photography.
I am also a fully qualified, responsible, loving and caring nanny who loves being around children. I have 20 + years experience of working with an age range of children aged 3 months - 13 years old and in a variety of settings. I am a very trustworthy, loyal and reliable person to have around. Most importantly, as a parent myself I know how anxious and worrying it is to find that all important person to care for my child and make sure that my child’s needs are met to the same standard of care that I myself would give.
As your nanny, I can help you feel secure in the knowledge that your children are being well cared for. I can help support you as a family as well as be there for your childrens needs and development. I can add value to your home by helping with light household duties like preparing childrens meals, doing their washing, tidying bedrooms and play areas and running any errands you may have. I am very friendly and chatty and easy going. I enjoy fun, relaxed indoor play/outdoor play, taking children on outings and attending groups/classes with the children. I give great cuddles when children are tired, sensitive or simply missing their Mum/Dad.
I find nannying very rewarding. I develop a relationship with the children. Watching them grow and learn new things every day is wonderful to be a part of. Watching the smiles and enjoyment on their faces as they experience the world around them is very enjoyable.
I have my own car covered for business use, up to date first aid training and have nanny liability insurance and a DBS on the update service.
My Experience
March 2023 - present - baby, toddler and pre school swimming teacher.
I run my own part time business teaching little ones water confidence, water safety and teaching early swimming skills.
July 2015 - July 2023 nanny to a boy in Wigan.
I started off part time when the child was 3 months old, alongside the job below. This became a full time position in August 2016. It then became an after school/school holiday position when the Child started school in September 2019
Sept 2015- August 2016 - Part time nanny to 1 year old twins, boy aged 7 and girl aged 5 years old in Knutsford (those ages at time of finishing this job)
This was part time alongside the job above until said job became full time.
March 2009-July 2015 - Full time nanny for 3 children aged 12, 9 and 7 year olds in Lymm (those ages at time of finishing this job)
I finished here as the family no longer required a nanny. In 2012 when the youngest started school this job became a nanny share with the family below
Sept 2012-July 2015 - Nanny share for 4 year old boy in Lymm. (Age at time of finishing this job)
They no longer required a nanny as the child started school.
